How big should your storage vault be?
The Remote Storage Backup vault must be big enough to hold all your important data.
The following will help you determine this:
- Open the Windows Explorer program. This is normally called by clicking Start
» All Programs » Accessories » Windows Explorer

- Select the folder whose size you want to calculate.

- Choose the option Select All from the Edit menu
of Windows Explorer. This causes all files and sub folders in the
selected folder to be selected.

- Choose the option Properties from the File menu
in Windows Explorer.

- A dialog box comes up with the information. The Size on disk property
in GB is the information being sought.

- If you need to combine multiple folders, simply total them up together. You should
add at least 10% to allow for growth. The answer has to be rounded up to the nearest
higher GB. That is the size of your Remote Storage Backup secure vault. In the example
shown here a 5GB vault would be ideal.
